Location: University of Birmingham,

Interfaith Day is on the 14th March between 11-4pm in the marquee next to Chancellor’s Court. Please come along and share some free food and interesting dialogue. Many of the Guild’s faith societies are represented and the theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Culture and Religion’.

The University, in partnership with the Anne Frank Trust UK, is also hosting the Anne Frank: A History for Today exhibition. It tells the story life of Anne’s short life through images and text and sets it against the backdrop of the rise of the Nazi party, WWII and the consequences of the Holocaust.

The exhibition is available to view in the Avon Lounge until 23rd March. Guided tours will also be offered by student volunteers. Contact heather@annefrank.org.uk for more information.

The Anne Frank Trust UK is a charity and partner organisation of The Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.  It draws on the power of Anne Frank’s life and diary to challenge prejudice and reduce hatred, encouraging positive attitudes, responsibility and respect for others.
